LOW NOISE AND LOW-LIGHT PERFORMANCE
An ISO range of 100 to 25600 means you can be confident shooting in low-light conditions like a dimly-lit room or at night, usually without needing a flash. The DIGIC 7 Image Processor works to maintain detail while minimizing noise and grain in high ISO images.
ISO 100
ISO 25600
EF-S 10–22mm f/3.5–4.5 USM • 10mm • 1/200 sec. • f/8 • ISO 100
Setting a low ISO speed lets you capture images with the lowest noise and highest detail possible.
EF-S 18–55mm f/4–5.6 IS STM • 55mm • 1/12 sec. • f/8 • ISO 25600
Setting a high ISO speed makes it possible to select a faster shutter speed in dark locations, providing minimal chance of blur due to camera shake.
