Service Notice: To Users of Canon's PowerShot G7X Mark III Compact Digital Camera

Thank you for using Canon products.

We have confirmed a phenomenon in which an erroneous temperature warning display during use of some PowerShot G7X Mark III compact digital cameras soon after purchase.

The following describes how to deal with this problem.

Phenomenon
During use of the camera soon after purchase, an erroneous temperature warning may be display a short time after setting the camera to movie mode.

Support
If this phenomenon occurs, please try following the steps below.
  1. Turn the camera’s power on.
  2. Set the Date/Time.
  3. Turn the camera’s power off.
  4. Leave the camera with the power off for at least 90 minutes.

After following these steps, the erroneous temperature warning will no longer display.
