The new Colorwave series includes Colorwave 3500 and Colorwave 3700 models

MELVILLE, N.Y. , August 8, 2019 - Canon U.S.A., Inc. – Latin America Group, a leader in digital imaging solutions, is pleased to announce the new Océ ColorWave 3000 series of large-format color printing systems. The Océ ColorWave 3000 series is a reliable, flexible large format color printing system, designed specifically for the creators. It inspires confidence through its convenient, hassle-free operation, high-quality graphics and consistent print quality, especially when every detail counts. The engines are based on 10 years of proven technology and are built for productivity: chock full of smart, time-saving innovations and ease-of-use features to keep misprints and costs down. With a media capacity up to 6 rolls, excellent workflow integration and a full range of perfectly tuned peripherals, the Océ ColorWave 3000 series can produce a wide range of applications with minimal operator intervention.

A joy to work with
The Océ ColorWave 3000 offers true ‘green-button printing’ – the right print settings for excellent print output without hassle. Océ Print Assistant automatically suggests the right print mode for the job, media requirements are detected automatically and the printer automatically switches to the right roll. Even scanning is a breeze: the Océ Image Logic technology turns imperfect originals into perfect copies and scans through advanced image enhancement. The software and user interface help operators flexibly manage jobs and avoid misprints and delays. Thanks to its automated functions, you can rely on worry-free print job execution with minimum operator intervention.

Confidently meets your high standards
Whether for technical documents, maps or full-color advertising banners for example, the Océ ColorWave 3000 series offers reliable, hassle-free quality with its built-in cost-reducing technologies and highly reliable multi-pass printing technology. For sharp lines, high readability, fine details and smooth, even area fills every time you print.

The versatile Océ CrystalPoint printing technology offers instant-dry prints with no feathering and excellent fine detail on a variety of media types, from thin, uncoated paper to vinyl. Regardless of what you print, the image is independent of media and therefore you only choose media for its properties. The printing process emits no fine dust, ozone or odor and the Océ TonerPearls are non-toxic. Prints are robust, water resistant and have a certified archival lifetime of at least 100 years.

Ready to serve for years and years
As a true workhorse, the Océ ColorWave 3000 series has few consumables and uses parts with a long lifetime, for robust, safe printing for years on end. The Océ PAINT technology provides nozzle failure compensation on the fly, maintaining high throughput. With a print quality so consistent that you can mix and match between machines, even after years of production, an Océ ColorWave 3000 engine can be the true mainstay of a company.

With the Océ ColorWave 3000 series, customers invest in a solution that meets their printing needs, today and in the future.
