Canon Latin America Group Announces the EOS Rebel T100, a Camera for Travelers in Search of the Perfect Picture

MELVILLE, N.Y., November 29, 2018 – Canon U.S.A., Inc. - Latin America Group, a leader in digital imaging solutions, is excited to announce that the wait is finally over. The new Canon EOS Rebel T100 is the perfect camera for all that would like to take their photography to the next level. The new camera is for all the travelers, that like to live their lives to the max, exploring new horizons, and love to share their experiences online, but are looking to upgrade from either a compact camera or smartphones.

The new Rebel T100 features an 18 Megapixel CMOS imaging (APS-C) sensor, with Dual Pixel CMOS AF keeping your videos and photos in clear focus. It has an ISO that goes from 100 to 6400 1 stop increments but can also be expanded to 12800, allowing to capture details in low light situations, good for late night concerts. It features a DIGIC 4+ image processor and continuous shooting of 3 frames per second as well as a 9-point AF system designed to achieve sharp focus in an instant.

Easy to use and light to bring with you, its built-in Wi-Fi®* allows for easy sharing to compatible smart devices and social media sites. It can also record videos in Full HD, and features a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

The T100 is without a doubt the ideal camera for beginners in photography or for those who are looking to go a bit further on their social media platforms, whether it be in image or video quality. It is compatible with all EF and EF-S Canon lenses, opening the door to the to the users creative of image capture in various different perspectives.
